The Reception children hosted their Mother’s Day Tea Party to say a big thank you to the mums for all the hard work they do for the children. The children made flowers, placemats, invitations and mother’s day cards. The afternoon started with two songs from the Reception children and this created a fantastic atmosphere in the Oak Hall. The children also prepared a small treat in the form of a biscuit and a cupcake, though I’m not sure how many were eaten by the parents as the children seemed to be enjoying the fruits of their labour! Well deserved none the less.
Year 2H performed their version of ‘I can see a rainbow’ in their French lesson today with Mrs Beddington.
You can hear them singing beautifully here.
2K have been learning their colours in French. Enjoy their lovely singing. You never know, it might help you learn your colours in French too!
The children would love to be able to translate for you.
The children sang beautifully in French to wish their friend a happy birthday.
